3. Ask your physician to approve the use of a
generic product.
Frequently Asked Questions
Should I cancel my prescription at my drug store?
It is important that your current prescriptions remain at your neighborhood
pharmacy because you should have alternative access to your medications at all times.
We use donated medications, so there are times when we may not be able to fill your prescription.
Should this happen, you will have to go back to your private pharmacy. Our pharmacists
will call in your refills.
How many prescriptions can I
fill at one time?
There is no restriction on the number of prescriptions that you can fill.
However, we do not stock narcotics, controlled substances, birth control
medications, needles or syringes. Prescriptions are filled for a thirty-day supply only.
When can I pick up my prescription?
Medications are normally picked up during pharmacy hours Monday-Thursday,
9am-2:30pm. Your service can be faster if you call your refill in at least two days prior to pick-up.
Our waiting area is small and often filled with clients who are waiting on a new prescription or a refill.
Many clients have multiple prescriptions that require longer time to process.
We fill
your prescriptions on a first-come basis.
We cannot hold or reserve medications for you.
Prescriptions not picked up within
30 days will be returned to stock as other clients may be in need of that particular medication.
Failure to pick up your refills result in the loss of pharmacy privileges.
